OH SH _ T, ON THE CONNECTOR!
Sep 24, 2009
What is it, about off roading that brings so many people together? Some may think it’s the camaraderie of the day hanging with great people, it is. Some may think it’s the challenge of trail. This is always a good answer. Some may think it’s about trying new upgrades or making fun of Seth, all of this is true. Some may argue with me, but I think it’s all about the “Oh Shit” moment. That ass clinching moment you laugh about with your friends on top of a mountain. The Connector isn’t just any mountain and it provides many opportunities for that “Oh Shit” moment. If you manage to get in a joke about Seth then that moment is even better!

Now, I realize there are just as many reactions to the “Oh Shit” moment as there are people. Take Bo for example, he breaks his front driveshaft and his reaction was oh shit, I’m going to have to ride with Kevin. This realization may have been the biggest “Oh Shit” moment of his life and he wasn’t worried about the driveshaft. Pictures of his face would have been priceless though. Oh Shit, we all happen to have the same damn camo shorts on, just a little 4X4CORPS trail fashion faux pas. I bet you can't say that one over and over real fast.We were all having fun anyway but the Oh Shit moments wern't over. After running Sidewinder, there was the realization by half the group that we were going to run the Connector uphill, Oh Shit, No Way! I think they wanted to laugh about that one at home. You all missed some good fun. How about Ashleigh, the “Video Princess.” She wasn’t even riding in a Jeep most of the time. What I didn't understand was how the video princess could also be the biggest drama queen of all time. She was the main character in the video and wasn’t even in it. I felt like I was watching the Blair Princess Project. No Shit! Another excellent demonstration of why we don't listen to the women on the trails.

Well, well, well… We had another great run to

Great video Ron. Wish I could have made it on the run. Looks like you guys had a blast. How did Bo lose a front driveshaft though?
Ashleigh- Loved your commentary. It really helped to recreate the drama and excitement of the real thing for those of us that weren't there to experience it first hand.
